Climate Zine workshop

Climate Zine workshop

// No creative pre-knowledge or experience needed //

Instead of just giving people more information about the climate and its rapid deterioration, we at Studio/K want to help you engage with the feelings of panic, hopelessness and fatigue around the climate topic. Making your own zine is a really nice and creative way to do this.

Join us for this workshop and let Chetana, the workshop facilitator, help you explore, reflect, and engage with this layered subject in new ways through creative making.

A zine (short for magazine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation.

Chetana Pai is a recent Interaction Technology graduate who founded CHA4OS Theory, an initiative that aims to provide and foster creative safe spaces for community, learning, and reflection through making. She truly believes that making together tangibly in the right environment can have a big impact on the way we engage with difficult conversations and topics. She has been holding zine and other creative workshops now for over a year and has been a part of multiple events and conferences.
