Leo and Remi, 13, have been friends for as long as they can remember. The friendship is cheerful, intense and above all inseparable. Yet a seemingly innocuous event seems enough to drive them apart. Full of misunderstanding, Leo approaches Remi’s mother. With Close, Lukas Dhont makes a tender and moving film about friendship and responsibility. With his second film, director Lukas Dhont (Girl) won the prestigious Grand Prix of the Cannes Film Festival 2022.
