Les cinq diables (ENG SUBS)

Vicky, a headstrong girl who is often bullied at school, has a magical talent: she has an extraordinary sense of smell and can not only recognize but also reproduce every scent she smells. Her room is full of glass jars in which she keeps her fragrance collection. She is most proud of the jars in which she has secretly stored the scent of her mother Joanne (Adèle Exarchopoulos). Vicky idolizes Joanne and finds it difficult to share her with others like her father. Things get even worse when her father’s sister Julia suddenly shows up after years of absence. Vicky creates a scent for Julia, one so strong it transports Vicky to magical memories that shed light on the secrets of her village, her family, and her own existence. Les cinq diables is a thrilling and mysterious drama written by Léa Mysius (Ava) and had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
