In 1920s Hollywood, a peculiar group of mischievous yellow henchmen storm onto a film set. They quickly become Hollywood sensations, throwing lavish parties in mansions and inspiring fans to wear overalls and safety goggles. Their moment of fame comes to an abrupt end when sound is introduced into films, thanks to their peculiar gibberish. Dejected, the Minions wander the streets of Hollywood, searching for a new villainous master to serve. With the help of a spellbook, James, Ed and Henry summon an adorable Lovecraftian creature and befriend it, in the hope of summoning even more monsters to play the villains in their film, but things don’t go quite as smoothly as they’d expected…
