After an airport bombing interrupts plans to extradite nineteen high-profile Korean criminals from the Philippines to South Korea, the Korean authorities come up with a back-up idea: to transport the fugitives via cargo ship. It’s a perilous journey across the sea, but nothing that stone-cold police captain Suk-woo and his team of hardened detectives can’t handle. Evading the watchful eye of the officers, the criminals are planning their escape, but a more sinister secret awaits them all in the hold of the ship…

Een bomaanslag op de luchthaven verhindert het transport van Koreaanse topcriminelen uit de Filipijnen naar Zuid-Korea. De Koreaanse autoriteiten besluiten hen per vrachtschip te vervoeren. De reis is gevaarlijk, maar de ijskoude politiecommandant Suk-woo en zijn team van geharde rechercheurs zijn wel wat gewend. Terwijl de officieren hun criminele vracht goed in de gaten denken te houden, plannen deze een ontsnappingsplan. In het ruim van het schip wacht hen echter allemaal een sinistere verrassing.

Project Wolf Hunting is een explosieve actiethriller doordrenkt van historische samenzweringen en geheime experimenten. Deze bloederige, claustrofobische achtbaanrit speelt zich bijna volledig af op een vrachtschip. Het schip fungeert als podium waarop de camera van dek naar dek springt in navolging van de hectische energie van de hoofdrolspelers, die allen vastbesloten zijn deze gevangenis from hell te overleven. Het kat-en-muisspel tussen agent, crimineel en nog veel meer monsterlijks zullen je de adrenaline-kick van je leven geven.
