The Boy and the Heron (ENG SUBS)

Mahito, a boy trying to cope with the death of his mother, steps into a world inhabited by both the living and the dead. In this world, death fades, and life is reborn in a new form. The semi-autobiographical, imaginative epic, The Boy and the Heron, is Hayao Miyazaki’s first film since the Oscar-nominated The Wind Rises (2013) and is once again an autobiographically inspired tribute to friendship.
