A generational divide plays out on the Bolivian highlands that are getting weighed down by a severe drought. Shots of bright colours and llamas penetrate the skilful compositions that show a nomadic community weathering the storm and the ravages of time. The central elderly Quechua couple gets under the skin and makes tangible the unequally distributed consequences of climate change.
The film is part of Sprouts Film Festival 2023, which will be held May 10-14. For more information about our festival and the SproutsFF23 films , click here.
