23/07: The Fight for Pride: Shorts Program
This program included all kinds of different short films that embody queer pride and focuses on bicultural and trans people within the queer community. On the 25th, the program was followed by an aftertalk with trans activists about violence towards and safety of trans people in the Netherlands.
A resort in upstate New York where people were allowed to act against gender conformities in the form of clandestine meetings. The documentary Casa Susanna (2022) provides an insight into these meetings and this will be the first time the film is screened in the Netherlands and will be shown exclusively at Studio/K.

Political figure Kanjeng Badai and her militant homophobic following pose a threat to the city. Madame X (2010) was screened exclusively on the 27th of July at Studio/K and is a collaboration with CinemAsia.
28/07: Studio/Queer invites the Trut: Pride Party
In honour of pride month, we are hosting a party called Studio/Queer invites De Trut. For this event, we are giving the stage to several DJ’s from De Trut, a queer disco in Amsterdam. Dance the night away with us and celebrate pride month and all of its beautiful queerness!
